Anuar earned his first Michelin star at 11 Woodfire in Dubai; the credential is biographical backdrop rather than transferred to 53. The à la carte program runs Pan-Asian across Singaporean, Chinese, Hong Kong, Japanese, and Korean registers — black-truffle soup dumplings, banana-leaf skate with sambal, Hainanese chicken. ICRAVE-designed three-story space with sweeping rainbow ceiling blades; Chelsea's Friedrich Petzel Gallery curates a rotating fine-art installation in direct dialogue with MoMA galleries one floor above.
