From the Editor

Aqua New York is the US debut of London-based Aqua Restaurant Group (David Yeo) — a 24,000-square-foot Flatiron property at 902 Broadway running three concepts under one roof: Aqua Kyoto (Japanese fine dining, executive chef Mitsuru Hara behind a 77-foot sushi counter), Aqua Roma (Italian, executive chef Giovann Attard, Roman-leaning à la carte), and Aqua Spirit (a 44-seat indoor cocktail lounge). The format echoes the London original at larger scale; opened November 2024, the venue has not yet been engaged by the Michelin Guide, the New York Times, or the major NYC critic publications eighteen months in. The dining programs are real and chef-driven (Hara's Crystal Sushi platters, Attard's tableside cacio e pepe in a pecorino wheel), executed at hospitality-group scale rather than chef-driven destination scale. For multi-concept dining at hospitality-group scale — the building itself is the editorial premise.
