Chef Atsushi Hayakawa's West Midtown omakase counter was Atlanta's first serious sushi destination — opened before Mujo, recognized by Michelin in the 2023 launch, and still one of the city's best omakase experiences. The format is traditional Edomae with Hayakawa's personal style; the counter seats only a handful at each service. Less of a scene than Mujo, more of a craftsman's restaurant. For Atlanta omakase that helped establish the city's modern sushi scene.
