One of the more theatrical concepts inside Level 8, the DTLA rooftop playground — Lucky Mizu is a Japanese "cooking with water" experience staged beneath a 40-foot Earth Harp that turns the whole room into an instrument when played. Dinner moves from zensai snacks and sushi into shabu-shabu and seiro-mushi sets built on A5 wagyu, Kurobuta pork, and pristine seafood. The space is pure spectacle: cherry blossoms, good-luck charms, butterfly infinity mirrors. Equal parts meal and performance — go for the ceremony as much as the cooking.
