MICHELIN GUIDE

Peak crowns 30 Hudson Yards at 1,149 feet — the highest restaurant in the Western Hemisphere, opened March 12, 2020 atop the tower that houses The Edge observation deck. The David Rockwell-designed 101st-floor room runs 110 seats with a 45-seat bar and panoramic skyline views; the program is modern American under Executive Chef Chris Cryer (ex-Seamore's NYC), rooted in a sourcing story built around local fishermen and farmers that anchors the kitchen against the altitude register. Michelin Recommended in the NY guide confirms the kitchen isn't a concession to the view. Operations transitioned from Rhubarb Hospitality Collection to TAO Group Hospitality post-2023 acquisition; the room sits in NYC's view-distinct register alongside Nubeluz (José Andrés's 50th-floor Ritz-Carlton rooftop) but at twice the altitude. For NYC's signature sky-restaurant address — where the view and the kitchen both carry editorial weight.
