Restoration Hardware's idea of a hotel — all nine rooms of it — comes with a dining room that doubles as the brand's mood board made edible. Tucked into an 1887 triangular loft in Meatpacking, the room is pure RH: monochrome velvet, crystal chandeliers, the hushed luxury of a showroom you can eat in. The menu runs to elevated American comfort — the kind of polished prime-rib-and-lobster-roll fare that photographs as well as it eats. It's less a restaurant than a lifestyle rendered in three dimensions, and on that count, it delivers exactly what it promises.
