Ralph Scamardella has run TAO Asian Bistro since the 2005 Venetian opening — now also Partner and Chief Culinary Officer of Tao Group Hospitality, with eighteen years of Italian/Italian-American background at Da Silvano NYC before launching the Tao Group culinary program. The 20-foot Buddha statue, the koi pool, the multi-level dining-floor-to-nightclub-floor architecture all read on the Tao Group spec; the kitchen runs pan-Asian across robata, sushi, and dim sum with the brand's signature program (Peking duck, Chilean sea bass satay, miso-glazed lamb chops). The nightclub-attached frame is the editorial baseline; the kitchen earns its placement above generic scene-restaurant tier. For Vegas's most-iconic pan-Asian dining room where the kitchen carries the room above default-Tao party-restaurant register.
