A supper club that dresses for dinner. Jon Neidich's Golden Age Hospitality conjured The Nines above Acme on Great Jones Street as an homage to the grand European hotel bars — Dukes of London, the Hemingway at the Ritz — all red drapes, gilded ceiling, and a baby grand at the center where a pianist works through Nina Simone and the Stones every night. The menu is caviar-era glamour: oysters, foie gras, smoked salmon and blini, and the signature Kaspian potato buried under thirty grams of caviar. Order a martini, dress the part, and stay for the music.
